Stacey's interest in dance began at the age of 5 when she attended her first ballet and jazz classes. Stacey has trained at CentreStage since its opening year in 1992, studying Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Ballet and Hip Hop.

For the past 15 years Stacey has been working on completing her A.I.D.T. exams in both Jazz and Tap. She successfully completed her final Tap exam in 1992 with "Honours" and her Jazz in 2003 with "Highly Commended". Since finishing all of her A.I.D.T. exams Stacey has now begun her extensive training to attain her Associate Certificate in Tap and Jazz in A.I.D.T. After six years in this program, Stacey has received her Full Associate in Jazz and is currently working on her Advanced Associate in Modern (jazz). She has completed her 1A and 1B Associate in Tap and is currently working on her Full Associate in Tap.

Stacey was a teachers' assistant for 2 dance seasons before joining the staff at CentreStage Dance. She now teaches Jazz, Jazz Exam, Tap, Tap Exam, Lyrical, Creative and Competition classes to primary through intermediate level students.

Stacey has attended several workshops and conventions with high profile instructors and choreographers as well as performed in multiple dance festivals and competitions as a duo or group performer.

After 17 years of dancing, Stacey wants to share her passion and love for dance with all of her students.
