Courtny has established herself in the dance community for the past 28 years as a highly successful choreographer and instructor. Her extensive dance training encompasses the disciplines of Ballet, Modern/Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap and Musical Theatre.

Courtny's life has been dedicated to her love of dance. Courtny trained daily to become a stronger more versatile dancer, and has been fortunate enough to work with many of the industry's finest choreographers. Some of these include Dana Landers, Keith Clifton, Joe Laughlin, Phinnius Newborn III, Daniel Lauzon, and the list goes on. In her youth, Courtny successfully competed in countless dance competitions and championships where she was the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships. Her experience as a dancer has given her the opportunity to be a featured performer in several shows and conventions around B.C. and by the age of 13 Courtny had already performed in the 1990 Grey Cup Half Time Show.

Benefiting from their teacher's passion, devotion and abilities, many of Courtny's students have gone on to be Provincial representatives, instructors, choreographers and performers around the world. Jazz, Lyrical and Musical Theatre have become Courtny's specialties. To her credit, her students through various levels have been very successful in competitions, productions and conventions. Many of Courtny's numbers have received "High Score Awards" and "Choreography Awards" in festivals and competitions around the province. ​

Combined with her unique and distinctive style of choreography, Courtny believes in bringing out the best in her students with fun, lively and yet challenging classes. Courtny is consistently working with her students on their strength, flexibility and confidence to help them become the finest dancers that they can all possibly be.
