Sarah Po Ting Yeung

Instructor: RAD Ballet

Sarah’s journey as a dancer began in Hong Kong and led her across Europe and Canada, where she trained and performed with renowned schools and companies, including The Hamburg Ballet, Dresden Semperoper Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, The Hong Kong Ballet, and Royal Winnipeg Ballet, building a professional performance career that spanned over 12 years.


Throughout her career, Sarah received extensive training in classical ballet, contemporary, Pilates and consistently integrated yoga and fitness into her routine to support strength, balance, and longevity. Her role as a teacher began in her early teens, assisting classes and later teaching at dance schools whenever she wasn’t performing. She also volunteered at community centers and taught in yoga studios, sharing her knowledge with students at all ages. In 2017, following her retirement from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Sarah relocated to Vancouver, where she transitioned into full-time teaching.


She studied at Jean M.Wong school of Ballet, Hong Kong Academy of Art, Hamburg Ballet School, she is a Registered Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) teacher, certified Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) instructor, a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, and an ACE-certified personal trainer.


Now entering her 18th year of teaching dance, yoga, and fitness, Sarah remains deeply passionate about nurturing the next generation of dancers. She is known for creating a warm, encouraging, and empowering learning environment and is a well-loved and respected educator among both students and peers. Guided by the spirit of yoga, Sarah strives to bring mindfulness, compassion, and presence into every class, always meeting each student where they are and helping them grow with confidence, discipline, and joy.
