Shannon Leigh Pouznar
In the past decade Shannon Pouznar has accomplished so many amazing goals both professionally and personally, she has become a mother, wife, studio owner, adjudicator, and examiner, years of dedication and hard work have gotten her to a point she has dreamed of all her life. Shannon has trained in jazz, tap, ballet, musical theatre, lyrical, and modern, and children’s work.

Courtny Thane
Courtny has established herself in the dance community for the past 30 years as a highly successful choreographer and instructor. Her extensive dance training encompasses the disciplines of Ballet, Modern/Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap and Musical Theatre.

Brianne Maxwell
Brianne Maxwell has been dancing since the age of three and has been teaching for the past fourteen years. She has trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern/Contemporary, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. Throughout her years of training she has found that Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary are her passion. She has won numerous awards and scholarships at a variety of competitions and conventions, as well as several choreography awards.

Hana Pauls
Hana began dancing at the age of three, and then became a part of CentreStage Dance at the age of five. She has trained in many styles including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical, and Contemporary since beginning at CentreStage Dance. Hana has achieved high marks on her Intermediate and Grade 7 R.A.D. Ballet Exams and has completed all of her A.I.D.T. Modern Exams. Hana has also completed her level one of teaching certification with International Dance Teaching Standards.

Amanda Griffin
For the past 33 years, dance has been a very important part of Amanda's life. Her years of dance have included studying in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary and Hip Hop. Amanda's desire to perform has also given her the opportunity to compete successfully in many dance competitions in groups, duos, and solos.

Deanna Carter
Deanna Carter is a highly qualified Ballet Teacher, who has trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Modern for the past 44 years. In 1997, Deanna completed an intensive teachers training course to become a certified teacher with the Royal Academy of Dancing.

Carly Erskine - Shaw
Carly began dancing at the age of 4, and then became a part of the CentreStage Dance family at the age of 9. Carly has trained in many styles including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Modern/Contemporary. Carly has completed all of her A.I.D.T. Tap Examinations. In addition she has taken numerous A.I.D.T Jazz Examinations including completion of the Intermediate level.

Heather Chapman
Heather Chapman was born and raised in Vancouver BC. She has been dancing since she was 7 years old right here at CentreStage Dance. For the past 31 years, Heather has developed her knowledge of Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Stage. She has attended many dance workshops and competitions throughout the Lower Mainland representing CentreStage Dance with positivity and enthusiasm.

Kiana Rigg
Kiana Rigg started her dance training at a very young age and has had a passion for it ever since. She has trained in various styles including Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Tap, but specializes in Acro.
Kiana has travelled to New York and Los Angeles to train with some of the world’s top instructors and choreographers. In addition to her training here in North America, Kiana has trained in Europe to even further her dance training even more.

Paige Evans
Paige began dancing at CentreStage Dance when she was 3 years old. She has trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Acro, Modern and Salsa.

Paige has completed her A.I.D.T. exams in Tap and Jazz with "Honours" and "Honours with Distinction." Paige has also completed her R.A.D. grade eight award in Ballet as well as doing her Intermediate at the vocational level.

Shaylee Mac
Shaylee has trained extensively in many genres specializing in Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. Her talent has taken her across Canada, the United States and Europe as a dancer and choreographer.

Jill Moree
Jill’s passion for dance started at the age of 7. She has trained extensively in Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Hip hop, Modern and Tap. Jill has performed with PRP Productions as a dancer and entertainer for grand events and celebrations including the 2010 Paralympics Opening Ceremonies, 2012 Grey Cup half time show featuring Nickelback and Victoria Duffield, The Fair at the PNE “100 Years of Fun” shows, and several street parades.

Kayla Hachey
Kayla has been dancing since she was 5, training extensively in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Modern here at CentreStage Dance.Kayla is trained in A.I.D.T. Modern & R.A.D. Ballet, currently completing her Intermediate Modern exams & Advanced Foundation Ballet. Kayla’s dedication and effort has not gone unnoticed, and she has been awards scholarships from examiners from around the world.

Carrie Coulter
Carrie has over 40 years of dance training and teaching experience, both locally and internationally. She specializes in the Graded Syllabi of the Royal Academy of Dance and graduated from the Academy’s 3-year Teaching Program, attaining R.A.D. Registered Teacher Status in 2001.

Georgia Cardinal
Georgia has been passionate about dancing since she started at the age of six. She has trained extensively in Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Modern, Jazz and Ballet right here at CentreStage Dance.
Along with successfully competing in these styles as a group member and soloist, she has also attended various dance conventions. As her love of dance has grown throughout the years, she is also attending Langley Fine Arts School majoring in Dance.

Sayda Bandringa
Sayda has been dancing since the age of seven. She has trained extensively here at CentreStage Dance in Acrobatics, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Musical Theatre. Sayda has been a part of our Competitive Company now for a number of years and is an integral part of our most advanced groups.
Sayda’s energy, enthusiasm and hard work have made her one to watch! She has received top marks in her Ballet and Modern exams and has been awarded numerous overall high scores at competitions all over the lower mainland as a soloist, duet partner and group dancer.

Louise Warren
Some of our dance families who were here at CentreStage Dance in their youth may remember Miss Louise as she taught here at CentreStage Dance back in the 90’s, and we could not be more excited to welcome her back!
As a performer, Miss Louise was a dancer and singer with the Alistair Roy Company and Solid Gold Promotions. She toured and performed in the UK, Portugal, Switzerland, Italy.

Trent Kaiser
Trent was drawn to dance, specifically Hip Hop, since his first dance class at his old high school, Sullivan Heights. He is well versed and proficient in the foundations of Hip-Hop and street styles such as Popping and Locking.
Trent has numerous experiences traveling with teams and crews for internationally renowned competitions.

Riley Bettesworth
Riley Bettesworth has been a part of CentreStage dance since the young age of three! From a very early age Riley found her passion and has become one of the hardest working dancers here at CentreStage Dance. Her drive, dedication and positive energy make her the perfect role model for all our younger dancers

Jocelyn Heaps
Jocelyn grew up dedicating her life to dance, and has never turned back. She has a passion for not only dancing, but for choreographing and teaching as well. She has competed throughout Canada and Los Angeles, and was also a member of a world Hip Hop National Dance Team in Vegas.
